Role-playing scenario: "Countdown20"


Due to consequence of climate change, the island will disappear in 20 years. As an islander, what will you choose?

                                        

Participants will assume the identity of islanders and make choices, experiencing the severe impacts of climate change. At the same time, they will learn about the work of the Red Cross in responding to climate change both internationally and locally, encouraging participants to pay attention to climate change issues and the affected communities.


Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the humanitarian suffering of climate change and global disasters
  2. Experience the challenges faced by climate refugees in various aspects of life, including personal, community, and societal issues
  3. Cultivate empathy, encourage participants pay more attention to climate crisis issues, and demonstrate humanitarian concern
