Disaster Preparedness x Team Building: “Little Humanitarian Rescue Team” 
 

Temperatures are soaring and climate is reaching unprecedented extremes.  
The rapid increase in global temperatures, combined with extreme climate conditions, is exacerbating the climate crisis. Various natural disasters are becoming increasingly frequent and intense.  

 In the face of super typhoons or extreme heat waves, what challenges will the citizens of Hong City encounter? Will the members of “Little Rescue Team” be able to complete their training, provide assistance, and successfully carry out their rescue missions? The activity will adapt “drama education, utilizing interactive games to guide students in understanding how climate change impacts our lives, the preventions and response to combat climate change, while also fostering a spirit of humanitarian support.

*To meet the diverse learning needs of students, this activity offers two themes—typhoon or heatwave, covering corresponding preparedness and response knowledge.

  • If a group exceeds 30 people, they can apply for additional participants. The centre will review the application separately. 
  • The charge for additional participants is HK$200 per person, and payment must be completed before the start of the event; no refunds will be provided.

Remarks 

  1. Applications must be submitted at least 6 weeks in advance, and participation is only confirmed upon payment. 
  2. The activity schedule can be adjusted according to the school's class schedule. 
  3. Please read the following information related to registration carefully:
    • Guidelines for participating groups
    • Arrangements for rescheduling or canceling the event  
  4. If the activity is not conducted at our center, schools are required to provide activity venue and basic equipment such as chairs, computers, projectors and audio equipment. 
  5. If the number of participants is fewer than 30, no refunds will be issued. 
  6. Recognized schools include registered schools in the Education Bureau's school register. 
  7. Recognized charities/groups are eligible to enjoy the same discounts as schools. A Recognized charities/groups refers to a charitable organization that is exempt from taxation under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.
